This movie is absolutely the most confusing movie I've ever watched. Granted I'm only halfway through, but it's so hard to follow; I still can't figure out what's going on 1:12 mins in.

*EDIT* AFTER viewing the entire movie, I retract my previous statement. It is definitely a mind twister, the beginning, and middle could have been written in a way that is easier to follow but, the ending wraps it all together. I moved my rating my 3 stars to 5. If you keep an open mind, and know the ending explains everything ahead of time; it's worth the watch. I wish I had known it would eventually make sense prior to starting it! :)

It's all over the place. I think I get what he was aiming at the amount of crazy, gun control, PTSD maybe and how music influence thought?... But wow the execution was just bad. Half way in the movie its not clear what it going on. You have sidestories, that take you most of the time. Unnecessary closeups , switching from frames, and just a lot of crazy with no clear line about why. and God... It was 2 hours of movie...its such a shame because the storyline is fine us Marshall team go crazy, what happened during their last operation. But then again, it took them 10 years?because there was so much unnecessary scenes that didn't contribute to the movies main story at all, it was hard to keep focus on what's going on.
