Confusing and complicated

Very confusing movie with a complicated screen play and bad acting. The trailer was good that's why I watched the whole movie thinking it's going to get better. Don't waste time on this movie.

Disappointed and Disgusted

Where do I even begin? It's a Terminator/Bible mashup which could have been at least entertaining in the right hands, but it's ultimately wasted in service of a poorly-made movie targeted at a Christian audience.

The biggest "sin" of this film is the wild use of stereotypes to move the plot forward. The big bad who's out to kill Jesus is a Muslim terrorist - one who goes from planning terrorist attacks to becoming hell-bent on destroying Christianity at the drop of a hat. We have the Jewish hero who ultimately ends up converting, a faith-spouting girlfriend/scientist, and the guy who's "angry at God". Rounding out the stereotype roundup is a jive-shucking African American scientist.

The next biggest problem is the movie's approach to time travel. An opening scene shows our hero after he has "aced" some type of physics exam. I've never heard the phrase "aced the exam" so many times in an situation. It then goes from the gang working on a "matter transfer" device of some sort to them just accidentally inventing time travel. Once the big bad finds out... he demands the hero get it fully operation in.....3 days,,,so he can go kill Jesus?!? No problem!! Just be sure to wear that Time wristwatch when you time travel!! As far as the explanation of the different time "continuums" created during the film - I know it's hard for these types of stories to remain coherent, "Assassin 33 AD" gives it a go, but at a certain point you just have to throw up your hands.

The acting is not good. Most of this could be due to the script, as so much of the characters are saying is dictated by the use of the aforementioned stereotypes.

I'm not a believer, but I'm not averse to watching a Christian movie. I just ask that it be a decent flick. This is not that.
