Take a Breather

This is an Asylum Project and a snooze fest. Read on if you must. An Earth cargo ship, The Salvation is at the planet Titan who just joined the Intergalactic Alliance with much descent among its people. The cargo ship is there to pick up "water crystals" whatever that is, to save billions on another planet. While Heidi (Neli Sabour) was docking onto the mother-ship they are attacked by rebels. Citizen Prime Ortiz (Michael Paré) sends out the one available ship and it is commanded by Admiral Allison (Erin Coker) who drinks and parades around all movie showing off her belly button in her regulation outfit. For drama, she is the sister of Heidi who is the girlfriend of Captain Reece (Jack Pearson) also on board. Reece doesn't like Allison because his brother died because of her actions, which were deemed appropriate. They zip to the planet Titan and encounter the enemy as the story becomes an endless stream of ship repair and skirmishes that were boring.

The the bridge scenes were a laugh when it shook, They couldn't shake the set so the shook the camera while the crew visibly rocked around in their chairs.

Desperate & deceptive cast and crew

This is so absolutely horrible that you'd gouge your eyes out. Noticing but click bait piggy backing off the anime called Attack on titan, the anime is absolutely superb. This movie is nothing but utter hogwash. How could any self respecting "actor" "director" "producer" associate themself with level of brand theft. If at any time I see an actor's name that is linked to this movie I'll immediately discourage anyone from supporting their "work" Abhorrent I tell you that so called creatives happily hijack the legacy and hard work of other creators, try very to use click bait and hope the masses will fall for it. No way!

Low budget sci-fi from The Asylum...

Right, well the title alone was an alarm clock in itself, "Attack on Titan", so go figure. And then there was that moment when you see the two dreaded words appear on the screen: The Asylum. Yup, this movie is another of The Asylum's notorious movies.

I have to say that I wasn't harboring much of any expectations for "Attack on Titan" (aka "Alien Space Battle"). Nay, strike that, I harbored no expectations at all, as I saw it was a movie churned out by The Asylum. But still, I opted to watch it, as The Asylum does have the occasional watchable movie here and there.

"Attack on Titan" wasn't one such movie.

Writer Gil Luna put together a fair enough storyline, I suppose. I wasn't enjoying it, but then again I am not overly much a sci-fi fan. But I am sure that diehard sci-fi fans will get a kick out of this 2022 movie from director Noah Luke.

The acting in the movie was adequate. The only familiar face was Michael Paré.

Visually then the movie was sort of okay. I mean, The Asylum have far worse movies with far worse special effects. So this one wasn't all that bad. Well, except for the fact that the props were stuff bought off of Wish or AliExpress, especially the goggles with the lights (as I have a pair myself from AliExpress) and the mouth visor. Hard to buy into the fact that it was suppose to provide breathable air for those wearing it when it doesn't even sit tightly and fitting against the wearer's cheeks and chin.

Hats off to director Noah Luke for attempting to put together a watchable sci-fi movie here.

I wasn't particularly entertained by this movie, as I found the storyline and script to be mundane and generic. And I just couldn't buy into believing the props as proper movie props.

My rating of "Attack on Titan" lands on a three out of ten stars.
