Having enough confidence to not care about others' judgment, even with a disability, can make people feel pleasant to be around.

Unlike the famous French film 'Intouchables' from before, this movie doesn't involve a wealthy person needing physical assistance or inspiring others by helping the less fortunate. Instead, it focuses the lens on an optimistic male lead, a physically disabled individual who can only do simple jobs, and another male lead working in the funeral industry-a job that exposes him to life's grim realities. I think the director wanted to explore how regular people can feel constrained by many things in life, whereas those without many worries, like the physically disabled protagonist, tend to be more carefree and better at socializing with strangers. If you've encountered some roadblocks in life, you might want to watch this film online. It's an entertaining story with some small but meaningful insights.

Beautiful Minds, beautiful film

Bernard Campman and Alexandre Jollien direct and star in Beautiful Minds. Everything about this subtle film is simply wonderful. From the music and cinematography to the actors and their performances. The film is hypnotic and beautiful.. funny and sweet. Campman plays Louis a hardened by life undertaker and Jollien is Igor a lonely disabled 38-year-old man who spends his days riding his tricycle distributing organic baskets..As Igor warmly states deep down both men are delivery men. Their paths cross and ultimately join after a traffic accident. A distracted Louis runs Igor off the road. From there the charming inspirational journey begins. And as fate would have it.. it begins at just the right time for both men who are in need of one another. The film reminds us of the importance of being able to lean on someone or something for the support needed to navigate life. Louis's support has been his work. Igor's from his friends Nietzsche, Spinoza and Descartes who exists only on paper. In Louis Igor finds a friend of flesh and blood. In Igor Louis finds a gentle soul able to provide the warmth his cold heart achingly needs. Joining Louis and Igor on the journey are Igor's mom (La Castou) Cathy (Tiphaine Daviot) Nicole (Julie-Anne Roth) Judith (Marilyne Canto) and Elsa (Marie Benati). They all provide just the right spices to make an already sweet film into a cinematic masterpiece. As Igor reminds us in the film.. there is a Zen tradition when you go through a door you let go.. the regrets and open yourself up to this beautiful life. Do yourself a favor let go open your heart and go through the beautiful body of work that is Beautiful Minds.

What a wonderful journey

I love movies where people embark on a journey that changes them due to the experiences they encounter. There are a few movies of this genre and this one doesn't fail. I loved the acting of Igor and also every actor involved. The story is beautiful and shows how fast we are to judge the other that is different than us without trying to see beyond the physical world and limitations. At the end of the day we are all human beings seeking for love and happiness and so often we miss opportunities due to our judgmental nature. This movie is a reminder for empathy, kindness and open mindedness and I highly recommend watching it.
