We watched this movie only because of Anthony Hopkins, but ended up with a shallow, cheap and ordinary one. It could have been a great movie if there would be more phycological background, more analysis, more .....

Plot summary
Elyse appears, on the surface, to have it all - a beautiful family, and enviable home, a charmed lifestyle. However, all is not what it seems, and her enviable existence starts to unravel. Institutionalised following a catastrophic accident, she is deeply traumatised and seemingly unreachable. Only the care from her doctor and the unconditional love from her nurse might lead to her recovery.

Anthony Hopkins is great. That is the only thing about the film that is great.
While it seems the intent of the movie is to take the viewer on a journey to illustrate struggles of mental illness, it took odd twists and turns that didn't benefit the plot. Acting of certain characters seemed forced. I wouldn't see it again.
