Some good but also some bad

I really like most of these Garage Sale Mysteries because they're well-written and for the most part, believable (or at least, one can suspend disbelief long enough to enjoy the plot.) But this one stuck out for pushing the envelope a little too far: the last killing is the old "hair dryer dropped into the bathtub" ploy (yes, it's possible, but still a long stretch); the first murder is discovered after the body is stuffed into a suit of armor and hung back on the display rack (why? How much time and effort and risk of discovery would a killer have at his/her disposal to do such?) And finally, the idea that someone is set up to take the rap for the murders is so obvious, but Jenn and the detective don't seem to account for that possibility. I'm sorry, but not as well-done as others in this series..,

Solid mystery

After acquiring a 15th century suit of armour and selling it to a client, a local college history professor shows interest in it, and asks Jenn to call the buyer and tell him he's willing to buy for three thousand. The buyer isn't interested. The professor accepts this and leave. Later,Jenn finds the body of the college history professor hidden in the 15th century suit of armor in the client's house. As she narrows down the number of murder suspects, she finds herself caught in the killer's web. When the professor's teaching assistant becomes the next victim, Jennifer finds herself caught in a killer's web of dangerous lies.

The identity of the killer was obvious but this is such a well-made mystery with good characterisation and a steaming plot that has a lot to offer. Lori Loughlin, like always, is on the ball in this solid mystery.
