You really can't think about what you see in this film. Plenty of nonsensical incoherent plot. The question arises why so much of a dystopian background story is told at the beginning, when it doesn't even play a role until the end. Much more, it plays a role in the great the boredom of the film with some dramatic scene to break. Unfortunately, this doesn't work because of the unrealism that lasts until the last minutes of the film. However, the actress does her best and together with the somewhat different survival idea, the film may be quite entertaining for people who do not expect a sophisticated film.

how easy it is.....
To make a ''stranded'' , ''casaway'' or '' lost in the wilderness'' movie is clearly shown in this superactual refugeelike film called ''nowhere'', the story about leaving hell for a glimpse of hope by travelling as incognitiouss and as cloacked as possible to a brave new world. But things doesnt workout as they should at all, have a look and make a try yourself...
both me and my grumpy old spouce had some jawdropping moments viewing this smallcasted spanish netflix flick and even though some physical laws are overthreaden here and there, it made me watch this twice, fantastic production settings, and a marvellous solo act by anna castillo.
A big recommend is an understatement en masse'
A sad but well made film
I like survival movies. Those ones with limited cast or just one main cast member, watching them try to survive in an unbelievable situation. It lets you see more of them and Their skills and this film is a great example of it. Let's set the story. It's a dystopian future where resources are running low so woman are separated from their children for a sickening reason. There is some heartbreaking stuff in the first half so let's get to this. A heaverly pregnant lady named Mia is separated from her partner Nico and has to fight to survive on a shipping container, after it ends up in the ocean. It's very well done and it's also the most realistic pregnancy I've seen. Mia is played great and the way she comes to terms with her predicament is almost inspirational. Also the container is called nowhere. Overall a very entertaining but hard hitting film.
