However, I do not like "documentaries" where the spectator is watching suffering for entertainment. I know documentary filmmakers say they do not interfere because they are only there to "observe", but you are there. You are already interfering. There is an episode where a lioness is badly injured and lays in pain for a week with a torn shoulder and crushed foot. This team should have had a veterinary team come to assist her as much as they could. I get she is wild, but you could tranq her and at least ameliorate her pain and do as much as possible for her injuries to give her the best chance for her and her cubs to survive. With biodiversity plummeting across the planet because of US, it's galling that we just sit and watch someone suffer and possibly die because we can't be bothered to "interfere". We should always help those in need and follow the golden rule no matter who it is, human or otherwise. Treat others with the concern and kindness you would like them to show toward you. Always. The world would be better for it. I also hate the opening song. It should have been a song made by someone from Botswana.
